Gundam Anthology

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=161513 Music: Gackt - Ai Senshi Animes/Games: Mobile Suit Gundam Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack Mobile Suit Gundam F91 Mobile Suit Victory Gundam Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz After War Gundam X Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Gundam Evolve SD Gundam G Generation Spirits SD Gundam G Generation Neo SD Gundam G Generation F Here it is. My tribute to Gundam. This is my first (and last?) AMV using multiple sources. I don't recommend this for AMV watchers or people who only seen a few Gundam series (no offense). This mainly focuses on mecha action, not character angst/drama/emo. If that's what you're looking for, please go somewhere else. As a Gundam fan, this video will always hold a sentimental value in me and I'm sure most fans will feel the same way as they watch this AMV. The song "Ai Senshi" (which translates into "Soldier of Sorrow") was originally sung by Daisuke Inoue. It was used as a theme song for the second Mobile Suit Gundam movie. Gackt released an album entitled "0079-0088" featuring songs from the theatrical Zeta Gundam trilogy and cover songs from Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy to commemorate Yoshiyuki Tomino's work. It is to be a birthday present for the Gundam creator. Series/OVA/movies that aren't this video (along with a reason): Zeta Gundam (I used the movies so no need for the TV footage) ZZ Gundam (I don't have a good quality source) G Gundam (haven't seen it yet) Gundam Wing (overrated, overused, and it SUX) Turn A Gundam (haven't seen it yet) G-Savior (ugh.. a Canadian L-A movie) Gundam SEED (overrated and overused) Gundam SEED Destiny (for obvious reasons) Gundam SEED C.E. 73 STARGAZER (don't have it anymore) SD Gundam tv series (don't make me vomit) Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO: The Hidden One Year War (haven't seen it all) Enjoy!
The Beatles - Across The Universe (Anthology version)

Slideshow set to music. This unreleased February 1968 alternative take of the song (recorded before the master), sans heavy production, appeared on Anthology 2 in 1996. This is often referred to as the "psychedelic" recording, due to the strong Indian sound, and illustrates the band's original uncertainty over the best treatment for the song. PS - Many of the viewers are curious to know what "Jai Guru Deva, Om" means. So here goes : "Jai Guru Deva" translates as (roughly) "Victory to God divine" or "Hail to the divine Guru" - here John might be referring to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi or to spiritual masters in general. "Om" is an 'add-on' word here : It is used as the most sacred word in Indian thought and often used by monks during meditation. It represents the birth growth and death of the Cosmos. It is also the Vibration / sound of the Cosmos literally. If you could step outside the Universe and listen to it that is what you would hear. The Yogis hear this in deep meditation.

The 13th Anthology - Drammatica by Yoko Shimomura

No, I will not send you the image. I don't simply have the wallpaper. Just google "kingdom hearts fanart" or "wallpapers" and you may just find. Gee, what a pain in the ass you users may be. Yoko's musics are always something that gives me the creeps. btw, I don't own the trademarks for the Kingdom Hearts, not for this song or nor the fanart I used as background. KURDISH CINEMA ANTHOLOGY 1/2

KURDISH CINEMA ANTHOLOGY (1978-2007) part 1/2 ____________________________________________ Look for de second part on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zzn3TdVf9Ko ____________________________________________ Here is the final Kurdish cinema trailer, with almost the 90% of Kurdish cinema (and films about kurds) made in the world. The klip is dedicated to Halîl Uysal, film director who died on 1th April, 2008, and to all brave kurdish and non-kurdish directors who have been dealing with the Kurdish issue. ____________________________________________ Halîl Uysal Filmography was: 2007- Ein Lied für Zagros 2006- Beritan 2002- Tall Mirror (Eyna Bejnê) 2002- Tirej _____________________________________________ Song: Mem û Zîn Artist: Mazlum Çimen Film Editing: Azad Kanjo _____________________________________________ Note: I wanted to sum up the history of kurdish cinema. But there are also some non-kurdish movies dealing with the Kurdish problem (like "Journey to the Sun", "The Wind Will Carry us" or Handan Ipekçi films), which help to understand the Kurdish reality and also the kurdish cinema. Note 2: I missed some Kurdish movies because I haven't them or because They haven't been released yet. Note 3: Bahman Ghobadi once said: "Kurdish cinema is like a pregnant woman. One must help her to give birth". Answering that question, I think the baby is out, mr. Ghobadi. And now, We must help him to grow up. ___________________________________________ List of all the films: ___________________________________________ 1) SÜRÜ (Zeki ökten, 1978) "The Herd / Kêrî" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078355/ 2) YOL (Yilmaz Güney, 1982) "The Way / Rê" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084934/ 3) MEM Û ZÎN (Umit Elçi, 1991) "Mem & Zin" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0492283/ 4) KLAMEK JI BO BEKO (Nizamettin Ariç, 1992) "A song for Beko" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104621/ 5) SÎYABEND Û XECÊ (Sahin Gök, 1993) "Siyabend & Xece" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108150/ 6) DE ZWIJGENDE REIZIGER (Ibrahim Selman, 1994) "A silent traveler / Rêwîtîya bê Deng" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111851/ 7) DE JONGEN DIE NIET MEER PRAATTE (Ben Sombogaart, 1996) "The Boy who stopped talking / Zarokê Nedipêyvî" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0124768/ 8) GÜNESE YOLCULUK (Yesim Ustaoglu, 1999) "Journey to the Sun / Rêwîtîya ber bi Rojê" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0188653/ 9) BAD MA RA KHAHAD BORD (Abbas Kiarostami, 1999) "The Wind will carry Us / Ba dê li ser me Bigirî" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0209463/ 10) TAKHTÉ SIAH (Samira Makhmalbaf, 2000) "Blackboards / Textê Reş" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0246266/ 11) ZAMANI BARAYÉ MASTI ASBHA (Bahman Ghobadi, 2000) "A Time for Drunken Horses / Dêma Hêspan Serxwêş" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0259072/ 12) FOTOGRAF (Kazim Öz, 2001) "The Photograph" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0299898/ 13) BÜYÜK ADAM KÜÇÜK ASK (Handan Ipekçi, 2001) "Hejar" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0298780/ 14) GOMGASHTEI DAR ARAGH (Bahman Ghobadi, 2002) "Marooned in Iraq / Awaza Dayika Niştiman" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0317226/ 15) VODKA LEMON (Hiner Saleem, 2003) "Vodka Lemon / Vodke Lêmon" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379577/ 16) KLEINE FREIHEIT (Yüksel Yavuz, 2003) "A Little bit of Freedom / Pariyek Azadî" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0349688/ 17) LAKPOSHTHA PARVAZ MIKONAND (Bahman Ghobadi, 2004) "Turtles Can Fly / Kûsî jî Dikarin Bifirin" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0424227/ 18) KILOMÈTRE ZÉRO (Hiner Saleem, 2005) "Kilometre Zero" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0459668/ 19) BRUDERMORD (Yilmaz Arslan, 2005) "Fratricide / Birakujî" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0470702/ 20) NIWEMANG (Bahman Ghobadi, 2006) "Half Moon / Nîvê Heyvê" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0847050/ 21) BÊRÎTAN (Halîl Uysal, 2006) "Beritan" http://ku.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C3%AAr%C3%AEtan_%28f%C3%AElm%29 22) DOL (Hiner Saleem, 2007) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0855783/ 23) SAKLI YÜZLER (Handan Ipekçi, 2007) "Hidden Faces / Rûyên Veşartî" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1095030/ "Cinema is the greatest achievement in our lives". Bill Bruford's Earthworks - Stromboli Kicks- Anthology Vol 2

Bill Bruford's Earthwork's, Stromboli Kicks from Anthology Vol 2. available Spring 2007 from www.voiceprint.co.uk Anthology Volume 2 -- the 1990s This 85 minute DVD is the second in a two volume anthology of previously unreleased concert footage of Bill Bruford's Earthworks, one of the longest lived, best travelled, and most original jazz quartets. This volume chronicles the band's progress through the 1990s from its electronic start to its acoustic renaissance; volume1 does the same for the 2000s. The group was originated as a vehicle for Bruford's unusual and innovative use of electronic percussion, and did much to challenge perceptions about what a drummer should, or should not, be doing in jazz. Filmed on tour in Germany 1991, Japan 1991, and Bulgaria 1999, Earthworks continues to offer a platform to the brightest and best young players, and has become a "potential model for the 21st century Jazz mainstream" ( Chicago Reader ). "...represents everything fusion should have been" ( Downbeat ) DVD Track Listing: Up North All Heaven Broke Loose Psalm Old Song Stromboli Kicks Bridge of Inhibition Emotional Shirt Candles Still Flicker in Romania's Dark Nerve Pigalle Never The Same Way Once Some Shiver While He Cavorts Bridge of Inhibition

Both volumes come with Dave McKean artwork and a 12 page booklet chronicling critical reaction at the time, and all material has been selected and supervised personally by Bill.
