Literal translating: The Way (a hommage to his wife who died in 1998 from cancer, 2 days after the death of his brother, also because of cancer) I can no longer see no longer trust my eyes can hardly believe feelings have turned I am much too slow to abandon it would also be too early because always something goes on. we were conspired would have been died for each other have bent the rain, have lent us confidence We tried to turn during a schuss down nothing was too late, but much too soon. we have pushed us through all tides We have fragmented, We desperately loved one another we have disguised the truth as much as possible it was a piece of the sky, that you exist .. you have any room flooded with sun have turned any anger into the opposite. nordic noble gently your kindness your irrepressible proudness life is not fair. (you) danced the film in a silver room gazed at the infinity from a golden balcony hopelessly lost, drunken and everything was allowed together in time-lapse midsummerdream you have any room flooded with sun life is not fair. your safe walking your true poems your bright dignity your imperturbable skill you braved the coincidence have never revealed your plan of happiness your plan of happiness I don't go away extended my deadline new time travel open world I have you safe in my soul I carry you with me until the curtain falls I carry you with me until the curtain falls.

U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name (2002 Super Bowl Live)

U2 performed this at halftime of the 2002 Super Bowl between the Patriots and Rams. As they played, names of victims in the September 11 attacks were scrolled on a giant screen. At the end of the performance Bono opened his jacket to reveal an American flag in the lining. "Where the Streets Have No Name" is more like the U2 of old than any of the other songs on the LP, because it's a sketch - I was just trying to sketch a location, maybe a spiritual location, maybe a romantic location. I was trying to sketch a feeling. I often feel very claustrophobic in a city, a feeling of wanting to break out of that city and a feeling of wanting to go somewhere where the values of the city and the values of our society don't hold you down. An interesting story that someone told me once is that in Belfast, by what street someone lives on you can tell not only their religion but tell how much money they're making - literally by which side of the road they live on, because the further up the hill the more expensive the houses become. That said something to me, and so I started writing about a place "where the streets have no name." - Bono from Propaganda 5, 1987
Michael Jordan 2002: NBA Record 51 pts at age 38

At age 38 and 315 days, MJ shattered the record for the oldest player to score 50+. The game prior had MJ scoring just 6 due to injury which stopped his NBA-record double-figures scoring streak at 866 games. MJ came out to make up for that here. It should be mentioned that MJ's injury limited him to just 2 full-game scrimmages the entire year in practice. One must wonder, without the injury, what might have been possible at ages 38-40? Zone was allowed starting that year with hand-checking tighter than today as one-legged, twilight MJ broke a few records that day.

TRAILER - Adaptation. (2002)

Director Spike Jonze delivers a stunningly original comedy that seamlessly blends fictional characters and situations with the lives of real people: obsessive orchid hunter John Laroche (Cooper), New Yorker journalist Susan Orlean (Streep), Hollywood screenwriter Charlie Kaufman (Cage), and his twin brother, Donald (also Cage). As Charlie struggles to adapt Orlean's best-selling book "The Orchid Thief," he writes himself into his own movie. The various stories crash into one another exploding into a wildly imaginative film. http://www.sonypictures.com/homevideo/catalog/catalogDetail_DVD043396076013.html
Jaheim - Diamond In Da Ruff 2002

From Jaheim's second album "Still Ghetto" gr8 lyrics Mmmmh diamond Ohh diamond (diamond) Diamond in da ruff someone that you don't meet twice We left the Brickz for the 'Burbs turned Mo into Remy matching fur coats and Fendi from the bus to a Bentley coupe with a closet full of shoes yeah Than our smiles turned to frowns ups turned to downs I don't know where i'm going now I think about her every once in awhile We started out like Bobby and Whitney Justin and Britney Then it all got ugly if it weren't for the money you said i start actin' funny but what's wrong witcha honey then the good turned to bad forgot what we had is it to late to get it back? I think about her more than once in awhile Like when i spot a rainbow or see a fallin' star a set of twins, or a classic car a four leaf clover, or a two dollar bill it's so rare that it's so unreal And I don't know how to get over her smile I wonder what she's doin (what's goin on)? I think about her every once in awhile (once in awhile) I should've came with a ring set a date for next May guess i thought that you'd wait now I hate that I took so long played around wit' her now she's gone now my smiles turned to frowns, ups turned to downs and i don't know where i'm goin (now now now now) I think about her every once in awhile We argued like Archie and Edith like Ike turned on Tina but I really didn't mean it I was raised not to hit a woman especially not the one i'm lovin' but when the good turned to bad happy to sad I wish we could take it back/(How I miss you baby I think about her every once in awhile Like when I spot a rainbow or see a fallin star a set of twins, or a classic car a four leaf clover or a two dollar bill it's so rare that it's so unreal I don't know how to get over her smile I wonder what she's doin now I think about her every once in awhile Your like a star shinning in the broad daylight Something you don't see all the time and now I finally recognize that I shoulda made you all mine never shoulda let you pass me by you put that sparkle in my life someone that you don't meet twice i'm gonna live to regret it baby ooooh baby, baby I miss you...need you...yeahhh ________ Album Review by John Bush Jaheim's considerable vocal talents only increased during the recording of his second album, and a stronger set of songs made Still Ghetto a definite improvement over the debut. As before, it all begins with his voice: a deep, throaty croon that makes him sound at least ten years older than he actually is (basically, about as old as the soul samples dotted throughout the record) and marks him as one of the few R&B artists active who can summon the spirit of a Teddy Pendergrass. Better yet, Jaheim takes the loverman persona to another level, devoting more songs here to relationships than love itself; one of the best is "Put That Woman First," his remake of the Stax nugget William Bell's "I Forgot to Be Your Lover," a great performance that's a natural fit with his persona. The single "Fabulous" is simply beautiful, balancing a back-in-the-day feel with self-esteem issues and riding out with a chorus of children's voices. For "Everywhere I Am," Jaheim recorded a postcard to his mother, who died before he gained fame; it's another testament to his power as an artist that Still Ghetto never descends into maudlin sentiments. Just like his soul forefathers, everything about Jaheim is honest and heartfelt.
