January 8th, 2009 at 22:07:24 interesting story. my father was able to attain many autographs for me including walter payton. he approached dominique at the cleveland airport and got dominique 2 autographs for my brother and said he was one of the nicest guys you could hope to meet. no huge ego and extremely humble. i treasure that autograph. best wishes, brian

January 9th, 2009 at 00:02:19 No offense taken, but I think most of the NBA experts agree with me. Dominique was horrendous on the defensive end for the majority of his career. He loved to hang around out on top of the key and wait for the outlet pass so he could slam dunk. Which, at that time, was about all he could do.

SOME of what you said about wilkins i agree with, but in the last 5 or 6 years of his career his defense improved by leaps and bounds. who cares about how you score points when your lifetime average is 25.5 pts per game. george gervin was pretty much just a scoring machine and he made it to the hall of fame. no offense jacob i just cant totally agree with you.
January 9th, 2009 at 00:48:17 Slam dunks is about all Dominique Wilkins could do. He didnt play defense and he didnt have a jump shot until late in his career. This is why he never made it to the Hall of Fame. Michael was the Greatest.
