November 18th, 2008 at 16:21:33 At that times eurovision was much better than now...

November 18th, 2008 at 17:07:31 ESTE VIDEO ES DE LO MEJOR
November 18th, 2008 at 17:30:30 Vicky's a far superior singer than Sandie. Just listen to her intonation! Unfortunately in Eurovision the highest quality doesn't always win, even in the old days of the competition.
November 18th, 2008 at 17:53:29 Merci pour le renseignement, j'ai regardé "puppet on a string" je suis entièrement d'accord avec vous 2"l'amour est bleu" et Vicky sont bien meilleures.
November 18th, 2008 at 18:16:28 Jaques, c´etait "puppet on a string", chanté par Sandie Shaw... Je ne sais pas comme c´etait possible... L´amour est bleu est plus meilleur !!!!!
November 18th, 2008 at 18:39:27 Sandie Shaw was better.
November 18th, 2008 at 19:02:26 claudine's version is much more subtle, and shows the beauty of it more.
November 18th, 2008 at 19:25:25 what a gem, was just browsing on sandir shaw and surfed to this, mesmerizing
November 18th, 2008 at 19:48:24 Qui a gagné et avec quelle chanson s v p.
November 18th, 2008 at 20:11:23 How did this not win? Seriously
November 18th, 2008 at 20:34:22 flawless

November 18th, 2008 at 21:20:20 Sorry, it was in 1967:)
November 18th, 2008 at 21:43:19 This was 68 not 67...the post is incorrect.
November 18th, 2008 at 22:06:18 yes L'amour Est Bleu..!! Show them what a greek person can do !! we are the winners of this life! greece for ever !land of the shine......
November 18th, 2008 at 22:29:17 Eurovision's golden age, when it was really a song contest compared to what it has become nowadays, dance routines and crappy cheapy mocks, whith very little exceptions I must admit. Luckily we can still enjoy these past jewels thanks to youtube...
November 18th, 2008 at 22:52:16 Absolutely gorgeous song, can't believe it didn't win. This is another of those situations in which the best song didn't get the recognition it deserved (like Italy 1958 or Spain 1973). I also like Sandy Shaw, specially her early career songs and 'Puppet..' isn't the best song to apreciate her talent. Fortunately, time has given these great songs their place in music history they rightly deserve.
November 18th, 2008 at 23:15:15 Best romantic song ever created
November 19th, 2008 at 23:38:14 I can see where you are coming from, but it is hard, at least for me to seperate the fact that I have Paul Mauritat's blockbuster version in my mind when I hear this. His version is phenomenal. I don't think Vicky Leandros version is that great. I am not that much of a fan of "Puppet On a String" but there is undoubtedly something catchy about it. It might be the carnival theme to it, it may be Sandi Shaw's cute delivery, but it has grown on me
November 19th, 2008 at 00:01:13 I just listened to "puppets on a string''. There is no doubt in my mind who should have won, Vicky Leandros. She has a better voice and L'amour Est Bleu is a beautiful song whereas I found " Puppets on a string" to be rather unpleasant to listen to frankly.
November 19th, 2008 at 00:24:12 Una gran voz, y quizás una de las mejores canciones que hemos tenido la oportunidad de escuchar a lo largo de toda la historia del Festival de la Canción de Eurovisión.
November 19th, 2008 at 00:47:11 See, when something in French outdo something in English, in raw popularity, despite having a market at least 20 times smaller...it means it just blew it off, totally! If you still think Puppets on a String was deserving the victory, you are biaised and unable to make a clear judgment!
