January 7th, 2009 at 22:40:03 dudduk-in response to your question: it's because not everyone in the USA are tone deaf nor ignorant (although most may be) toward other cultures. and the truth remains that none of us are 100% american despite what we think as our ancestors came from somewhere besides america! so some of us connect with others besides americans. in fact, my only 2 favorite american artists are Modest Mouse and Jeff Buckley. the rest are mostly UK artists. you guys produce some of the best! peace out.
