January 7th, 2009 at 15:35:30 Actually, most atheists are NOT from Texas. Texas is a very closed-minded, neoconservative, Bible-thumping cowboy state. I live here currently and hope to get the hell out soon. If atheists feel comfortable enough to tell the world we're atheists, why would we be ashamed to announce anything else? Just because atheists are for civil rights and Christians aren't doesn't mean we're all gay. I, for one, am not, but if I were it would just be one more reason to be ridiculed by Christians. Bigot.
January 7th, 2009 at 15:58:29 Of course you don't care about minorities if you are part of the majority. Your way or the highway, right? That's not at all what the founding fathers intended and not what this republic is supposed to stand for. (Note REPUBLIC, not DEMOCRACY.) And Matt Dillahunty, sorry to tell you, is a very smart, moral guy. Educate thyself.
January 7th, 2009 at 16:21:28 Do you understand that the constitution was established to limit the power of all branches of the government, including limiting the majority's power of the minority? I really hope that all of your comments were equally sarcastic
January 7th, 2009 at 16:44:27 Californians did not allow gay marriage, judges overruled the voice of Californians. The Government is for the people and the people have spoken . . . twice! Lol screw Arkansas and their family values!(/sarcasm) This is the first video I've ever seen of this guy and I can see he is a moron.
January 7th, 2009 at 17:07:26 The religion that fucking enslaved them is the religion they fucking follow blindly now. How prop 8 failed should come as no surprise and thats the real irony.
January 7th, 2009 at 17:30:25 I think he was quoting Colbert
January 7th, 2009 at 17:53:24 I have a very time-consuming job so I'm not ashamed to admit I'm out of the loop. Did he just say at the very end that [Stephen] Colbert is dead to him? Why?
January 7th, 2009 at 18:16:23 Don't hate yourself rEbELsOul, you don't have to lie to yourself (or us) anymore. Oh yeah, and don't forget left-handed. We want that secular Jew (rather be atheist though), black, lesbian president to also be a lefty. And differently-abled too. (I kinda got used to differently-abled presidents, after all.)
January 7th, 2009 at 18:39:22 I think I have the solution: Both heteros & homos should form a "religion" that deems it acceptable to marry whomever they see fit. It could even improve upon the many immoral teachings of Christinaity and other religions. Basically a Secular Humanist doctrine ordained by a "deity", "spirit" or even "nature" since thats what it seems to need to be protected. This would protect it with regard to the law and I bet both sexual orientations would end up joining!
January 7th, 2009 at 19:02:21 most atheist r secret fags... steers n queers in texas.... "i want a jewish black lesbian president" u r definitly gay y dont u bring ur pink feathered scarf on the show next time u arent fooling anybody boy lover..lol replay the video and tell me in 3 seconds am i right!!!
January 7th, 2009 at 19:25:20 Bravo! Excellent and most worthy rant!
January 7th, 2009 at 19:48:19 To ensure good audio levels in your videos, you want to use a process called "audio normalization" or just "normalization". I can't imagine many video editing tools that wouldn't provide this function (and from my PC days I remember even VirtualDUB could normalize audio). Normalizing will raise the waveform amplitude a constant amount across the entire wave without introducing digital clipping. You can usually set it to give u x amount of headroom too. -0.3db is a good amount! Good luck! : )
January 7th, 2009 at 20:11:18 Why? I don't know about you, but I've never heard of group of people becoming better from being treating bad. Besides it would make more sense to be anger at the white voters for taking the rights of another group.
January 7th, 2009 at 20:34:17 "Twat"
January 7th, 2009 at 20:57:16 What was the word that starts with a "T"?
January 7th, 2009 at 21:20:15 Oh the joys of selective equality and state authority...
January 7th, 2009 at 21:43:14 Well yeah, but if it turns some of the kids gay and they keep on with it because of equality laws...! Well I think that would be a form of child abuse. I'm for it for now though as no one knows. Interestingly, they legalised gay adoption in Britain and at around the same time made it illegal for step children to get together. They also started paying benefits to some Muslim polygamous marriages, but that's still illegal for everyone else.
January 7th, 2009 at 22:06:13 It's not about being more moral. It's about not doing bad deeds to others like it was done to us. We paid a heavy price because we were different. We as a people know how much hell it has been for our people. Getting our basic rights as an american citizen was a long, rough road traveled. We know the pain that came with all this. For us to overcome that, and turn around and tell another minority group that they can't exercise their american right. As a straight black man, i'm embarrass.
January 7th, 2009 at 22:29:12 wow i went on a rant in school about almost everything you said (and then some) personally im not gay but i would stand in front of just as many occultists to have our basic human rights as self evident as marriage not discriminated against this is a short life and you should enjoy it as much as possible that also means marry the person you love but i cant keep going on, your friendly neighborhood atheist 91962
January 7th, 2009 at 22:52:11 I make videos too, so I know that getting the audio right is hard, but these are really low... I crank the audio up and later on hit WinAmp and my wife jumps up screaming at me to turn it the fuck down. That's my only complaint.
January 7th, 2009 at 23:15:10 yeah, i noticed that too... i always have to crank the volume and even then it's just barely loud enough.
January 8th, 2009 at 23:38:09 His logic was simple, did you watch the video?
January 8th, 2009 at 00:01:08 Lol why is Rick Roll'd a related video to this?
January 8th, 2009 at 00:24:07 He's saying that since they had recently experienced inequality, they should be more sensitive to it, having experienced it first hand.
January 8th, 2009 at 00:47:06 I second that.
