January 7th, 2009 at 13:26:25 lol loved it
January 7th, 2009 at 13:49:24 I would love to have some atheists come by my house so I could share the love of Jesus with them. Once you experience that relationship with God your life will never be the same, your eyes will be opened and you'll look back at this video and realize that you just over looked the truth. "The natural man does not accept the things of the spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. 1Corinthians 2:14. God love you.

January 7th, 2009 at 18:48:11 And simply because God is aware of everything as if it has already happened does not mean we do not have free will. God is much bigger than that. I make a hundred decisions every day. What is it to me if someone knows what I am going to do before I do it? My will is completely separate from God's will, though the goal is to make them one and the same, not without great difficulty. No definition of character ever came without difficulty. It is not a bad thing.
January 7th, 2009 at 19:11:10 Adam chose to side with his wife even though he knew he wasn't supposed to eat the fruit. He was there at the very first when God told him explicitly not to eat it. Don't tell me he didn't know or that he was tricked. This is very important, because if there was no sin at that time, we might all still be living in the garden of Eden.
January 7th, 2009 at 19:34:09 You cannot logically offend me unless there is no logic to what you say. So you say they did they not surely die? They immediately died spiritually, as they could no longer have fellowship with God due to their sin. They eventually died physically, when they would have lived forever in the garden had they not disobeyed.
January 7th, 2009 at 19:57:08 My care levels on this are drastically low. Sorry if I offended you in any way during this conversation. Even if Adam didn't directly hear from Lucifer I think he was tricked. And God lied to them and told them that if they ate it they "Would surely die", and they where doomed to it from the beginning because god knows and created all meaning he created the future of Adam and Eve doomed so they had no choice and there is no free will to any man because everything is already in place.
January 7th, 2009 at 20:20:07 John Safran is really hilarious sometimes. haha
January 7th, 2009 at 20:43:06 >If religion is preying on people then it is an evil thing indeed. Look at scientology. It has destroyed some ppl. Taken them for every penny they had.
January 7th, 2009 at 21:06:05 Alright then, my religion (what I govern my life by) is this: to seek truth so I know how to do good and avoid evil. Truth is a razor-thin line which cuts to the innermost parts of one's psyche. If religion is preying on people then it is an evil thing indeed.
January 7th, 2009 at 21:29:04 The fact that women tend to rely more on emotion than men do and so are more easily tricked is not being sexist. I am not a psychologist, but I do recognize that men tend to rely more on logic and less on emotion in making their decisions.
January 7th, 2009 at 21:52:03 I read the text, and my understanding of it agreed with the details of it. I know what exegesis is, and I also know what eisegesis is. Women are no less than men, they are just different. If it is not clear enough for you in Genesis 3, see Romans 5:12 "...through one man sin entered the world," not "one woman." It was totally Adam's fault, not Eve's.
January 7th, 2009 at 22:15:02 >but do we not all have a set of morals which govern our everyday actions? Is this not religion? NO. It's genetic. Humans are born with altruistic traits. We are able to feel empathy. It has NOTHING to do with religion. In fact religion teaches ppl to be intolerant. It promotes racism, sexism, speciesism, homophobia and war.
January 7th, 2009 at 22:38:01 Well you read it then? At least now you can say you agree with part of the Bible, lol. I don't know much about Bill Maher, but do we not all have a set of morals which govern our everyday actions? Is this not religion?
