January 7th, 2009 at 16:01:02 wow. thats beautiful...if only more bands could be like U2, thats just awesome.
January 7th, 2009 at 16:24:01 Luisthedude...another truism. But we will never be able to "know" the truth about 9/11...that Bush needed it to to overthrow the Taliban who were telling him "no way are we going to let you run an oil pipeline through our country, from Russia"...Bush and Daddy Bush's Carlyle Group needed 9/11.... Have you ever read "Bin Laden: The Forbidden Truth"?
January 7th, 2009 at 16:47:00 It's great, but sadly the sound quality is kind of poor : (
January 7th, 2009 at 17:09:59 awesome! love U2
January 7th, 2009 at 17:32:58 a good tune to honor, but just because bono flashes out an american symbol, and i'm not bashing u2 they performed their music well, doesn't mean he, their music, or the listing of the names honored the victims, justice and truth is what truly brings peace and monument to all that has happened.
January 7th, 2009 at 17:55:57 Nothing but respect for these guys. The way they have remained so relevant and important to the music industry as well as being such great human beings and all the while staying (for the most part) out of trouble, well it makes me wonder if another group will ever come close to these four men who dared to 'dream out loud'.
January 7th, 2009 at 18:18:56 Very well said. I agree on the Cahill book as well. Blessings...
January 7th, 2009 at 18:41:55 DAAAAMN MAAAN!
January 7th, 2009 at 19:04:54 One of the greatest live performances i have ever seen. U2 will live forever....in the hearts of people throughout the world.
January 7th, 2009 at 19:27:53 i would kill to see them live LONG LIVE U2
January 7th, 2009 at 19:50:52 Luisthedude....oh how true your words are. It is so sad to see alledged "patriotism" turned into venomous hatred. It's so sad that there are still Americans who think Saddam was responible for the WTC disaster. But on another note didn't U2 do an incredible job of honoring the innocent victims of 9/11 here in the US? Bono rocks and is such an incredible global humanitarian. Makes me proud of my Irish heritage.
January 7th, 2009 at 20:13:51 Unfortunately New England. :) I am with you though could have topped this.
January 7th, 2009 at 20:36:50 There's alot of world politics bickering here on a video of a great performance by a rock band. Yes they did answer the tragedy Of 9-11 2001. But then looking into the history of the Irish. They have a remarkable sense of humanitism, a great intelligence of the world around them. I read a good book by Thomas Cahill. How the Irish Saved Civilization. It's worth reading. And then you see a band move so many people like they do, and like no other band can. you have to look at thier heritage.
January 7th, 2009 at 20:59:49 And you swallow for the liberal propaganda and anarchist pop culture who feeds you those lies.
January 7th, 2009 at 21:22:48 hey qualityfemale, goes to show extreme patriotism can bring out such stupidity in people, as in the case with jakeupstudios comment
January 7th, 2009 at 21:45:47 The BEST live version of "where the streets have no name" is from "Slane Castle, Ireland"...it will give you goosebumps...trust me...its on youtube too! I was there!
January 7th, 2009 at 22:08:46 God bless Ireland...God Bless America...God bless the World God bless U2
January 7th, 2009 at 22:31:45 im glad you liked it...ive seen U2 many times in concert both here in Ireland & abroad and that was by far the most powerful performance ever!
January 7th, 2009 at 22:54:44 that performance of sunday bloody sunday was awesome. love it when he says fuck the revolution
January 7th, 2009 at 23:17:43 yeah this stole the show, this performance beat the whole game
January 8th, 2009 at 23:40:42 I don“t remember who won the superbowl, but I remember this emotional moment in the history of rock.
January 8th, 2009 at 00:03:41 thats what he world needs today (LOVE)!! all this war bullshit because of religion and crap, we should love thou neighbor as jesus says...
January 8th, 2009 at 00:26:40 U2 are saints. Their music touches people around the world, regardless of race, color, creed, politics, age, gender, finances etc. Celtic Saints! march 2,2009 U2 ''no line on the horizon'' !!!!
January 8th, 2009 at 00:49:39 This was an emotional moment for all Americans and gave them all a sense of pride and solidarity & brought them 2gether at a dark time! If that sent shivers down ur spine then watch this, type "sunday bloody sunday rattle & hum" into youtube. It is a live rendition of bloody Sunday which took place the same day as an IRA bombing in my country IRELAND...Bono makes an angry speech during it and gets very upset, conveying how WE all felt back home!! its remarkable and U2 at their very best!
January 8th, 2009 at 01:12:38 Awesome
