January 7th, 2009 at 16:01:18 The reason Africans were used is because they were the ones willing to sell their peope for the least amounts of European goods, money etc. After a while it became widespread and known that slaves could be had cheaply in Africa, thus the black slaves. Look at Native Americans, they had their land tken from them and their women raped..I have a friend in Navajo Nation and they dont harbor a bitterness. They know this generation has nothing to do with it so they dont hold grudges.
