January 6th, 2009 at 20:11:43 I fucking will miss him too but there's enough on here for me. He can be tiring.
January 6th, 2009 at 20:34:42 SO the fuck what-he is smart not an ass who gets his life taken because he wants to please his mommy. Get a life, "grotesque".
January 6th, 2009 at 20:57:41 Ron Paul's gonna lose. AGAIN.
January 6th, 2009 at 21:20:40 fucking great, its a shame he never ran for office.
January 6th, 2009 at 21:43:39 I was watching a long interview with G.C. the other day. In it he said he enlisted at the age of 17 in order to do his military service early and get it out of the way. Back when he enlisted there was a draft and he did not want to be called up when he was 21 or 22 (like Elvis) and have it interfere with his career plans (also, like Elvis).
January 6th, 2009 at 22:06:38 i fucking miss this guy
January 6th, 2009 at 22:29:37 Yeah, ah ite, good point. Still, he could have gone into a field like talk radio and made more of a meaningful impact. It's all about George, and his ego, though. He gets (or got, that is) a throbbing hard-on, playing the "anti-establishment" hero on stage. Damn, some people mature and grow out of that. But not our Georgie.
January 6th, 2009 at 22:52:36 mipoleon: Yes but he has complaied profusely about not being allowed ballot access to run for president as an independant...
January 6th, 2009 at 23:15:35 WTF, Jessie Ventura won the governership of Minnisota.
January 6th, 2009 at 23:38:34 ultrakool: You think Geroge Carlin could have broken into politics with his beliefs about the country? Jessie Ventura tried something like that and he wasn't even allowed ballot access... Carlin wouldn't have had a hope and the only stage where you can say things like that without being labled "crazy" or "America hating" or whatever is the area of comedy... That's while Colbert and Stewart are still on the air...
January 7th, 2009 at 00:01:33 You can just about explain anything away. What about character and commitment? Sure it's easy to "change". Pointing out this nations foibles, past and present, doesn't make him a comic genius. It just makes him Airman Obvious. If he wanted to make a true impact for change, maybe he should have entered the arena of politics. Easier to lampoon than effect real change, huh Georgie?
January 7th, 2009 at 00:24:32 "change" obama brings ron paul 2-12
January 7th, 2009 at 00:47:31 You forgot about time. Time passes, and quite often people change. Most people change quite a bit from age 20 to age 50. Its called growing up. He was discharged at age 20, and probably signed up around 18. So, its a cute theory you have... but lacks common sense. Not only do people change as they get older, they usually read more, and learn more about issues. Issues like war, poverty, and history. And he was labeled an "unproductive airman," pointing to a lack of interest.
January 7th, 2009 at 01:10:30 People reinact battles to improve strategy to reduce your body count and increase the enemies.
January 7th, 2009 at 01:33:29 RIP George. The world needs people who think like you.
January 7th, 2009 at 01:56:28 Use live ammunition, assholes, would ya please? lmao But don't let him kid you. George liked war, too. So much so that he enlisted in the USAF, so he could help in the next bombing of some other "colored" race. Turns out he couldn't hack it, so he packed it. That's a bad lil flyboy, Georgie.
January 7th, 2009 at 02:19:27 His political observations are what separate him from trivial comedians who amuse people. Unfortunately his message will still be relevant in 100 years.
January 7th, 2009 at 02:42:26 PARDON ME!! ahahahah...legend
January 7th, 2009 at 03:05:25 Great!
January 7th, 2009 at 03:28:24 I see your point but "civilians" did not fight for the most part in the civil war.The ones fighting were in armies and not civilian armies either.
January 7th, 2009 at 03:51:23 george carlin has a huge point.
January 7th, 2009 at 04:14:22 Carlin is fucking god....
January 7th, 2009 at 04:37:21 This is one of Carlin's best messages...along with the ones on climate changes and the silliness of religion.
January 7th, 2009 at 05:00:20 Let's just wait and see... shall we?
January 7th, 2009 at 05:23:19 GENIUS, man, genius! He is so great, RIP, George!
