RUN DMC did alot of great remixes!! MICHAEL NESMITH of THE MONKEES wrote this before the Monkees...NEZ is a great song writer...Although the Monkees are no longer together(and yes they did play their own instruments)...they are all doing there own thing now...check all four of them out...Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork, Davy Jones and of course NEZ:) see what they are up to!

They didn't in the beginning since they were only supposed to be a TV band,
but once they started doing actual concerts and stuff, they learned to play their own instruments.
I felt like I needed to correct that. lol
