January 5th, 2009 at 21:43:49 Hall of fame all in one room. Just a classic performance. Seems like the other post of the same video (misdated 1944) has slightly better sound/picture quality. And yes, badmouthing Billie Holiday 50 years after she has left us with such wonderful musical gifts is about as lowclass a pursuit as I can imagine...

Some folks come out of a hard childhood and thrive - some don't. Emotionally, we do the best we can with what we have.
